The program funded the installation of residential solar energy systems through a single provider administering services on a statewide basis, and a solar PV pilot. These projects reduce residential energy demand, and reduce GHG and air pollutant emissions associated with conventional energy generation. The low-income residents of disadvantaged communities that participated in this program benefit from lower energy costs.
