California Climate Investments is a portfolio of over 110 State climate programs that fund projects and programs like:
Community-led projects (e.g., community car sharing, composting)
Household-serving voucher programs (e.g., rebates for the purchase of cleaner cars, woodstove replacements)
Large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., affordable housing, transit)

Funds habitat restoration and dust suppression projects to improve air quality and environmental conditions at the Salton Sea.
Technical assistance for small, disadvantaged communities to address drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, or groundwater needs.
Grants for affordable housing and transportation projects near jobs, schools, and other daily destinations.
Grants for land use planning, capacity building, and land acquisition projects that protect agricultural land from conversion to non-agricultural uses.
Grant application assistance and implementation support for Tribal, disadvantaged, and low-income communities applying for or carrying out climate mitigation, adaptation, or resilience projects.
Funds California Conservation Corp, which enrolls young adults for a year of service resulting in job skills and work experience implementing forest fuel reduction, habitat restoration, and energy efficiency projects.
Vouchers for clean truck and bus fleet purchases for public transit and innovative small e-fleets.
Rebates for the purchase or lease of new, eligible light-duty vehicles, including electric, fuel-cell, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
Funds farmers to purchase of agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations.
Funds research that supports implementation of the California Forest Carbon Plan and Prescribed Fire Monitoring program.
Funds hazardous fuel removal, fire prevention public education, fire prevention and wildfire safety planning.
Financial incentives that support on-farm management practices that sequester carbon, including soil management, establishment of herbaceous and woody cover, and demonstration projects.
