California Climate Investments Roadmap
Step 3: How to prepare or update an expenditure record for posting on the program website
Administering agencies develop and submit an expenditure record to CARB.
-
Purpose: Administering agencies will develop and post their expenditure record, which provides transparency about how GGRF funds will be used, ensures that their program meets statutory requirements, and furthers the purposes of AB 32 and related statutes. The expenditure record should be updated with every new appropriation.
Resources:
o California Climate Investments Funded Programs
Questions to Consider:
o Does a new expenditure record need to be created or does the program already have an expenditure record in place that needs to be updated?
o If a new expenditure record needs to be created, does the program meet the criteria to use the alternative compliance expenditure record template?
o Has the program undergone any changes since posting the expenditure record that would warrant an update?
