Process and Resources for Administering California Climate Investments Programs

Once the legislature appropriates GGRF funds, administering agencies design and implement California Climate Investments programs in accordance with the Funding Guidelines and any program‑specific statutory requirements. This roadmap illustrates how administering agencies use the Funding Guidelines through program design, implementation, and reporting.   • Purpose: In many programs, applicants apply for funds by submitting an application to the administering agency each program cycle. The application review process may vary based on the funding approach of the program. This module provides an overview of the requirements in the Funding Guidelines and CARB’s role in the application process and project selection. CARB’s level of involvement is determined with the administering agency and is made on a case-by-case basis.
