More than 14 million gallons of water saved
Over 1,600 projects in the transit, affordable housing and other sectors will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 738,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent
43 million gallons of fuel reductions through transit, affordable housing, and agricultural projects
Greater Sacramento Climate Investments in Action
Supported by a $3.9 million California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Wetlands and Watershed Restoration Program grant
The South Yuba River Citizens League, the Washoe Tribe, and project partners are restoring 485 acres of the high-elevation meadow habitat in Placer and Nevada Counties
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions by over 34,000 metric tons in carbon dioxide equivalents, supports wildlife, bolsters ecosystem, climate, and community resiliency, and improves community access to natural resources
The Partners Advancing Climate Equity (PACE) pilot program is a capacity-building program administered by the California Strategic Growth Council
Supported 22 local leaders deeply rooted in their communities across the state
Local leaders strengthened their ability to advance equitable and community-driven climate solutions

Who is eligible?
A number of implemented California Climate Investments projects span multiple geographic boundaries (e.g., a transit bus line or large forestry project crossing county lines). While most projects can be tied to one project address, where it is not feasible to associate a project with a single region, district, or county, the same project data is included in each area that benefits from the investment. This method of attribution tends to increase the implemented project totals reported here.
