What does it fund?

The Workforce Development Program (WFD) is part of the Cleanup in Vulnerable Communities Initiative. The WFD has been allocated funding toward developing careers in environmental sectors for vulnerable communities, which are communities with high cumulative environmental burdens and proximity to sensitive receptors using CalEnviroScreen 4.0 scores.
